|The sacred well of Sa Testa was discovered in the thirties along the coastal road from Olbia to Golfo Aranci, by shepherds in search of water. Sa Testa includes a circular courtyard, a trapezoidal entrance, a staircase and a tholos, which encloses the well. The exact age of the monument can not be accurately detectable due to its continued use until the Roman era. The dating of the oldest forms - still uncertain - seems to confirm its contemporary with other examples of sacred wells found in the island [late bronze age, 1200-900 BC].
